Neurosurgeon joins Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- Board eligible neurosurgeon Gregory Weiner, M.D., has recently joined the medical staff at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.
Dr. Weiner specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of the nervous system which includes the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves.
His clinical interests include cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery, stroke and kyphoplasty for spine fractures.
Dr. Weiner received fellowship training in endovascular neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where he also completed a neurological surgery residency. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans.
