CAMP HILL, Pa.Geisinger Holy Spirit will host the fourth annual forensics consortium on Friday, Nov. 9, from 7 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The event will be held at the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg, 1150 Camp Hill Bypass, Camp Hill. 

The training is designed for healthcare providers, as well as law enforcement, victim and rape crisis advocates, emergency medical service providers, Children and Youth personnel, school nurses and guidance counselors. Sessions will discuss the signs and symptoms of adult and pediatric strangulation and bruising, and the Pennsylvania Crimes Code as it relates to the forensic patient. 

Presenters include Daniel Dye, senior deputy attorney general, Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General; Lori Frasier, M.D., chief, Division of Child Abuse Pediatrics, Penn State Hershey Medical Center; Michael Galantino, deputy district attorney and chief, Special Victims/Domestic Violence Division, Delaware County District Attorney’s Office; Heather Rozzi, M.D., medical director, Forensic Examiner Team, Wellspan York Hospital; Maryann Brogden-Brandt, RN, critical care clinical nurse specialist, Geisinger Holy Spirit; and Theresa Ressler, RN, forensic nurse coordinator, Geisinger Holy Spirit.
