Geisinger opens new outpatient vascular clinic in Pottsville

POTTSVILLE, Pa. – Geisinger recently opened an outpatient clinic specializing in vascular care at 100 Schuylkill Medical Plaza.
Fellowship-trained vascular surgeons Jeremy Irvan, M.D., and Gregory Salzler, M.D., M.S., will see patients for the following: aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease and carotid stenting; dialysis access; mesenteric arterial occlusive disease; peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and peripheral arterial stenting; kidney disease and other diseases of the venous system, including varicose veins.
Dr. Irvan earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He then completed a residency at the University of Oklahoma and a vascular surgery fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center.
Dr. Salzler earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, completed his residency at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical School and completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
In addition, the clinic includes a diagnostic vascular laboratory for high-quality ultrasound studies used to evaluate diseases of the arteries and veins of the neck, legs, abdomen and kidneys.
