Geisinger welcomes new provider to 65 Forward Health Center
Dr. Garmon earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston after completing undergraduate studies in biology at Austin College. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Dr. Garmon joins the 65 Forward team following his time as a primary care physician in central Virginia. In addition to his work in primary care, he served as a wound care physician and an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Virginia.
“Joining a unique program like 65 Forward is exciting because it helps to make health easier for our neighbors,” said Dr. Garmon. “Having up to an hour for appointments lets us get to know our patients and answer their questions. Plus, having the entire care team on site makes it simpler to coordinate additional care and help our members live their healthiest lives.”
Dr. Garmon is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Garmon is currently accepting new patients to be seen at the Geisinger 65 Forward Health Center in Shamokin Dam. The location is set to open in October. To schedule an appointment with him or to learn more about Geisinger 65 Forward, call 866-237-0152 or visit geisinger.org/ForwardNewsShamokinDam.
