DANVILLE, Pa. – Wondering about a weird mole or other strange skin spots? Attend a free skin cancer screening hosted by Geisinger during the month of May.

Although skin cancer is common, it’s also the most treatable form of cancer when detected early. Being checked yearly by Geisinger’s top dermatologists — at an office visit or a free screening event — can help everyone avoid serious risk.

Locations for the free screenings will include Geisinger Frackville, Geisinger Healthplex Woodbine, Geisinger Dermatology Scranton, Geisinger Lock Haven, Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital, Geisinger Lewistown Dermatology and Geisinger Bellefonte Dermatology. Slots will be filled by the hour at each location until full.

Register today by visiting geisinger.org/skincare.
