On-site interviews for behavioral health positions and more

Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – As Geisinger continues recruiting employees to make better health easier for the communities of central and northeastern Pennsylvania, the health system will hold an in-person hiring event in Wilkes-Barre from noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24.

Geisinger offers a variety of career opportunities in departments that provide direct patient care as well as those that support operations. Openings include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, social workers, case managers, licensed professional counselors, mental health workers and more.
The event will take place at the Woodlands Inn at 1073 Highway 315 in Wilkes-Barre.

Attendees can learn about career opportunities, potential hiring incentives, and benefits including retirement programs, parental paid leave, tuition reimbursement and health insurance on the first day of employment. They should bring an updated resume with them to the event.

“Residents of Luzerne County and the surrounding area can find career growth opportunities with competitive salaries and benefits right here,” says Jeff Lowry, associate vice president of recruitment for Geisinger. “We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our caring team of healthcare professionals and help make better health easier for our communities.”

Registration is encouraged, but not required. Walk-ins are welcome. Visit go.geisinger.org/hiringevent to register and view all roles eligible for hiring incentives. To learn more about job opportunities at Geisinger or sign up for job alerts, visit jobs.geisinger.org.
