MUNCY, Pa. – Filling a prescription and picking up over-the-counter medicines is now easier with the opening of the new Geisinger Pharmacy at Geisinger Medical Center Muncy.

Located inside the hospital, the retail pharmacy allows patients to pick up their prescriptions or over-the-counter medications before heading home from an appointment or procedure. The pharmacy also offers home delivery and curbside pickup.

“The opening of this pharmacy makes it easier for our patients to pick up their medications right in the hospital, so they don’t have to travel farther away to an off-site pharmacy,” said Jarod Schreiber, PharmD. “Patients can also ask the pharmacist any medication-related questions to make sure they understand and feel comfortable with their prescriptions.”

Geisinger Pharmacy offers prescription discounts and price-matching on medications found at larger retail stores without any membership fees, including over-the-counter drugs. Patents can also have their prescriptions delivered right to their home or brought out to their car.

The pharmacy is currently open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached at 570-308-2420. Learn more by visiting geisinger.org/pharmacy
