Endoscopy suite opens at Geisinger Healthplex CenterPoint

Opening adds outpatient services in northeast PA
PITTSTON TWP, Pa. – Now open, the endoscopy suite at Geisinger Healthplex CenterPoint brings much-needed outpatient services to the region. The suite is part of the 124,000-square-foot outpatient specialty facility located at 1201 Oak St. in Pittston.
The endoscopy suite offers three exam rooms to allow doctors to diagnosis gastrointestinal (GI) issues in one visit. Patients needing a screening colonoscopy, have a simple heartburn or a more complex GI issue, will be able to receive diagnostics and outpatient surgery procedures at Geisinger Healthplex CenterPoint.
The healthplex also offers bone, muscle and joint care; urologic services; eye care and eyewear; and physical and occupational therapy. Laboratory and diagnostics, a ConvenientCare and orthopaedic urgent care services are also available.
