Pennsylvania House Speaker to discuss public policy, workforce issues July 18 at Geisinger Commonwealth
SCRANTON – Pennsylvania House Speaker Joanna McClinton will take part in a panel discussion on public policy, workforce issues and women’s health on July 18 at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Other panelists include Julie Byerley, MD, MPH, Geisinger College of Health Sciences’ president and dean and chief academic officer at Geisinger, and Maria Montoro Edwards, PhD, president and CEO of Maternal and Family Health Services.
“On Tuesday, our community will have the chance to hear about issues that impact both the local workforce and public health with one of the most powerful leaders in our Commonwealth,” Dr. Byerley said. “We invite everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to dialogue with Speaker McClinton.”
