WellSpan Health, Summit Health and affiliated providers added to growing footprint
DANVILLE, Pa. – Geisinger Health Plan (GHP) is expanding in Bedford and Franklin counties and will now serve more businesses and their employees, who will have access to our broad network of doctors and hospitals including WellSpan Health and Summit Health.
“GHP is thrilled to be expanding customer choice into these areas by bringing one of the top insurance plans in Pennsylvania to two new counties. Now businesses and individuals alike will have a new option to secure high-quality health care,” said Roger van Baaren, chief sales officer for Geisinger Health Plan. “Since Geisinger already operates in these counties for Medicare and Medicaid, consumers can feel confident knowing we have strong local relationships and network arrangements already in place ready for them to receive care from people in their communities who they know and trust.”
