Geisinger Multi-Specialty Clinic Danville now fully operational

DANVILLE, Pa. – Geisinger general internal medicine services will welcome patients to a new, updated space as they move to Geisinger Multi-Specialty Clinic Danville on Monday, Oct. 21.

Previously offered on the Geisinger Medical Center campus, general internal medicine services are relocating to the multi-specialty clinic at 35 Justin Drive in Danville to give patients a better experience. General internal medicine will be located on the fourth floor of the facility. The new clinic offers convenient parking, easy drive-up drop-off options and self-check-in kiosks.

Adult neurology, endocrinology and neurophysiology services moved to the multi-specialty clinic earlier this year. Outpatient behavioral health services also moved from the hospital to Geisinger Hughes Center South.

The opening of the general internal medicine clinic completes the multi-specialty clinic project on Justin Drive. The former office building was renovated and updated to meet clinical needs and provide a convenient, modern care environment.

Relocating services off the Geisinger Medical Center campus is part of Geisinger’s ongoing work to provide care in appropriate locations for the types of services offered and improving the overall patient experience.

These moves will allow patients with specialty needs to receive care without having to travel to and navigate a busy hospital campus.
