SCRANTON – Get out, enjoy the benefits of walking — and learn about a health topic — by joining a free medical student-led walk on Saturday, March 22 at 9 a.m. at the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail, Olive Street Trailhead, Scranton

In case of rain, the walk will move to the Mall at Steamtown.

The walk is hosted by Geisinger College’s School of Medicine and its Family Medicine Interest Group. All are welcome to attend.

Walks begin with a brief discussion on a health topic, then participants enjoy a walk and conversation with medical students, faculty and staff from Geisinger School of Medicine.

Walk with a Doc is an opportunity to build friendships, spend time in nature and receive free health education in a relaxed setting.
