Dr. Sandra Culbertson named Chair of Geisinger’s Women’s Health

DANVILLE, Pa. – Sandra Culbertson, M.D., has joined Geisinger as Chair of Women’s Health. In this role, she oversees women’s services across the system including obstetrics and gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, gynecological oncology, urogynecology and reproductive endocrinology. 

In addition to her leadership role, Dr. Culbertson, a board-certified urogynecologist, also will be caring for patients in Danville and Wilkes-Barre, focusing on the treatment of recurrent urinary incontinence and prolapse.

Prior to joining Geisinger, Dr. Culbertson spent more than 20 years at the University of Chicago, where she was the vice-chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. While in Chicago, she was consistently listed as a “Best Doctor in America” since 2001 and was named a Chicago “Top Doctor” from 2014 onward.
