MP363-Urinary Tumor Markers for Bladder Cancer
The purpose of using urinary tumor markers in the evaluation of members who exhibit signs or symptoms of bladder cancer is to serve as an adjunct to cytology and biopsy. The current standard for a confirmatory diagnosis of bladder cancer is cystoscopic examination with biopsy.
MP 110-Uterine Artery Embolization for Treatment of Symptomatic Fibroids
Uterine artery embolization is a treatment option used to promote shrinkage of symptomatic uterine fibroid tumors by blocking the blood supply to the fibroid, which causes infarction and atrophy.
