He changed my quality of life

I was just living through it and suffering while seeing a variety of doctors who weren't sure what was going on, recalls Samantha Milazzo who agonized for years from a variety of stomach pains. "As a young adult, it was overwhelming." People suggested stress and anxiety about college exams were to blame, but Samantha knew it was more. Then she met Dr. Grad. He made her case a top priority and he worked to uncover the cause of her illness. After bloodwork and an upper endoscopy at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Samantha's diagnosis came back as Celiac disease and irritable bowel syndrome. Now, with dietary restrictions and Dr. Grad's careful supervision, Samantha lives a normal life again. "He changed my quality of life and has gone above and beyond," Samantha says.
