Za’atar and rosemary roasted almonds
This snack is made with za’atar, a flavorful Middle Eastern spice blend. It combines oregano, marjoram and thyme with tangy sumac and toasted sesame seeds, bringing unforgettable flavor to most any dish.
Besides being tasty and nutritious, this bedtime snack is loaded with magnesium, calcium and melatonin to help you wake up feeling refreshed.
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons za’atar
- 2 cups raw almonds
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
Directions:
Heat oven to 325° F. Cover a baking sheet with foil. Combine almonds with olive oil, rosemary and za’atar and mix until almonds are coated. Spread nuts evenly on baking sheet. Roast for 10 minutes and enjoy!
