This sweet and savory bowl works as a snack or light meal.

Tasty fruit cups blend everyone’s favorite — nuts and chocolate for a light, healthy treat that feels indulgent.

Serves 4.


  • 1¼ cups sliced fresh strawberries 
  • 1 cup chopped fresh or canned pineapple
  • 1 large banana, chopped 
  • 2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided) 
  • 1 tablespoon water 
  • 2 tablespoons sliced, unsalted almonds
  • 1 large red or green apple, chopped


  1. Combine fruit and portion into four bowls.
  2. Add tablespoon chocolate chips and water to microwave-safe bowl. Heat in microwave in 10- to 15-second intervals. Stir after each interval and continue until chocolate is melted.
  3. Stir in reserved chocolate chips, mixing until melted.
  4. Drizzle chocolate over fruit cups. Top with almonds and serve.

Nutrition per 1 cup serving: 148 calories, 3.8g fat, 0mg cholesterol, 2mg sodium, 30g carbohydrates, 4.6g fiber, 20.7g total sugars, 2.2g protein.
