Recipe: Chocolate-drizzled fruit cups with almonds
This sweet and savory bowl works as a snack or light meal.
Tasty fruit cups blend everyone’s favorite — nuts and chocolate for a light, healthy treat that feels indulgent.
Serves 4.
Ingredients
- 1¼ cups sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 cup chopped fresh or canned pineapple
- 1 large banana, chopped
- 2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips (divided)
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons sliced, unsalted almonds
- 1 large red or green apple, chopped
Directions
- Combine fruit and portion into four bowls.
- Add tablespoon chocolate chips and water to microwave-safe bowl. Heat in microwave in 10- to 15-second intervals. Stir after each interval and continue until chocolate is melted.
- Stir in reserved chocolate chips, mixing until melted.
- Drizzle chocolate over fruit cups. Top with almonds and serve.
