The internship typically begins the end of August and concludes at the beginning of June. There is a four-day weekend during Thanksgiving, two weeks of vacation at Christmas, and a three-day weekend in the spring.
Times to note
Typical work hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Another possible shift especially during food service rotations is 5 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Interns also may work second and third shifts at least once during the food service rotations. Some weekend work may be required.
