How to apply
Applications for upcoming classes are open three times per year, generally in January, May and September. The positions will be posted in the Geisinger website Careers area, as students are considered Geisinger per diem employees. To apply, click Clinical/allied health and input "student" into the Keyword field of the Available Jobs search box at top of page:
After applying, students will be asked to complete two assessment tests. Upon successful completion of these tests, students will be invited to take part in a formal interview.
There is no fee associated with the Geisinger School of Phlebotomy. Fifteen students are accepted as per diem employees after successfully completing the admission process. Students are paid at the posted rate for hours spent in classes and clinical rotations. Students do not perform service work hours as part of the program.
