We are committed to providing your patients with easy access to specialty care within their local community. If you have patients who require specialty care outpatient referrals or need inpatient bedside consults, then Geisinger may be the telemedicine resource for your practice or facility.

We offer:

  • Live audio/video consultations so patients can see and speak directly to a specialist in real time
  • Store-and-forward exams that allow sending photographs, X-rays and other exam information to a specialist at another location for review and interpretation

In addition to the provision of clinical services, staff at the Geisinger Telemedicine Office also provide assistance with telemedicine service initiation and operation, including broadband connectivity, technology implementation, clinician and support staff training and credentialing.
