Does your family know where your important information is?

With a little forethought and planning, you can make it easy for your family members to do all the difficult but necessary tasks required after a loved one passes away — from canceling credit cards to estate settlement.

If you think about planning as a gift you can give those you care about, the effort becomes easier. For example, think how relieved your family and executors would be to find all your bank account numbers, phone numbers, addresses and other important information all in one place. (And compiling this information can make your life easier and more organized, too.)

If you’re not sure where to start, we can help. Contact us for a free Estate Information Organizer where you can record all your important information. Just email Robin Endicott, CFRE, at rendicott@geisingerhealth.org.
