Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute

The Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute (ADMI) integrates early diagnosis of children with autism and developmental disorders with medication and behavioral treatment with research and training. In addition to its team of physicians, genetic counselors, physician assistants and other staff, ADMI has a team of experienced researchers who are trying to uncover the causes of neurodevelopmental disorders and improve behavioral and medical treatment options.

Cancer

Our more than 30-year alliance with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and its community research programs allows us to offer the most advanced care and treatment options to patients close to home. Geisinger is a NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) community site which conducts cancer clinical trials and research to improve patient outcomes and reduce disparities in care.

Department of Biomedical and Translational Informatics (BTI)

The Department of Biomedical and Translational Informatics (BTI) was founded to develop and apply state-of-the-art technologies in informatics and genomics to link clinical information from electronic health records (EHR) with genomic information from the MyCode Community Health Initiative to make discoveries about the genetic architecture of common, complex disease.  In this era of precision medicine, Geisinger is well poised to make significant contributions to the discovery of important predictors of disease risk and treatment response.  BTI will build a faculty with the appropriate research background to tackle these important challenges.
