Why eat less, when you can rather eat right

Why choose Geisinger for clinical nutrition counseling?

Want to improve your nutrition or get advice about eating well with diabetes? Our clinical nutrition team can help you get healthier. When you meet with a registered dietitian nutritionist or certified diabetes educator, they’ll create a nutrition plan tailored to your lifestyle. Whether you're managing a chronic condition, recovering from a procedure or wanting to lose or gain weight, we’re here to support you. Ask your primary care doctor or specialist for a referral.

Our Diabetes Self-Management training program, accredited by the American Diabetes Association, will help you manage your diabetes through food and nutrition counseling and education about exercise, medication management, controlling glucose and managing complications.

We also offer a Diabetes Skills Training for Caregivers program for personal care home staff. Register for training.
