Volunteering, donating or sponsoring at Camp Courage

If you’d like to get involved in a worthwhile cause and help children work through grief, becoming a Camp Courage volunteer may be ideal for you. We have many volunteer opportunities for people of any age. Geisinger also offers other ways to be involved, including through donations and sponsorships.

Volunteer qualifications

All volunteers are required to complete an application, interview and orientation. Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Big Buddy: Paired with a child for the weekend/day
  • Support volunteer: Helps set up activities and keep the program running smoothly
  • Junior volunteer: A 16- or 17-year-old who supports assigned activities

We couldn’t offer Camp Courage without our wonderful volunteers, who make a difference in children’s lives by giving their time and encouragement.
