Fee schedule updates take effect Jan. 1, 2026

We’re revising the standard payment methodology for a portion of services found on comprehensive fee schedule, CMP-7, starting Thursday, Jan. 1. After a thorough evaluation we’ve determined these changes will allow us to more accurately balance member benefits with the cost of services.

Affected services include a range of ophthalmologic, drug administration and eye exams to surgical procedures, diagnostic tests and complex inpatient evaluation and management.

For dates of service on or after Jan.1, affected services will follow the below payment methodology:

• Geisinger Gold (Medicare) members – affected services will be reimbursed at 100% of the 2025 then current fee schedule rate.
• Commercial group and Marketplace members - affected services will be reimbursed at 105% of the 2025 then current fee schedule rate.
