Your gift supports advanced treatment, closer to home
Bringing world-class cancer care to more communities
Thanks to our generous donors, the newly expanded Frank M. and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is now complete — delivering advanced treatment, clinical trials, genetic screening and personalized cancer care right here in northeast Pennsylvania.
But our mission doesn’t stop there.
To meet growing demand and remove barriers to care, we’re expanding our cancer services across the region — including new facilities in Dickson City and Lewisburg. With your support, we can make lifesaving care more accessible for every neighbor who needs it.
Your generosity is saving lives

Removing barriers to lifesaving treatment
Northeast and central Pennsylvania have higher-than-average cancer rates, yet many patients still travel long distances for care. We’re changing that — by investing in state-of-the-art cancer centers in your community, to bring world-class treatment closer to home.
Thanks to your philanthropic support, we’re transforming cancer care across Geisinger with:
- Clinical innovation: Personalizing every treatment
Through our Genomics and Population Health Screening Program, we offer genomic testing as part of routine cancer care — helping tailor treatments for better outcomes. - Comfort and dignity: Expanding cancer care centers
The Henry Cancer Center expansion includes a larger, more comfortable infusion center, more space for oncology services and a warm environment for our growing bone marrow transplant program. Expanded sites in Dickson City and Lewisburg will build on this model of healing-centered design. - Leading-edge technology: CyberKnife in our backyard
We now offer CyberKnife® — a noninvasive, highly precise radiation treatment — right here in northeast Pennsylvania, eliminating the need to travel to a big city for the best care available. - Tomorrow’s care today: Training future cancer specialists
Our care teams educate the next generation of physicians, so our region stays on the forefront of cancer treatment, research and compassion.
