New transactions available through Availity
In case you missed it, Geisinger Health Plan has officially joined Availity Essentials — a robust, multi-payer platform designed to streamline administrative tasks and boost efficiency.
Starting Tuesday, March 10, you can verify eligibility and benefits, submit claims, check claim status and complete other tasks with Geisinger Health Plan. Look for more features coming soon.
If you experience any issues with verifying eligibility and benefits or claims status through Availity, those functions can still be used on NaviNet.

To get started, your organization must designate an Availity Essentials administrator. They’re the person responsible for registering your organization in Availity Essentials and managing user accounts. This person should have legal authority to sign agreements on behalf of your organization.
