Geisinger President and CEO Dr. David Feinberg named among the Top Ten Voices in Healthcare by LinkedIn
In its third year, the LinkedIn Top Voices list recognizes individuals who create and share outstanding content and most importantly, generate dialogue.
“These are people whose posts, videos and articles can help start conversations and generate new ways of thinking that help you get ahead,” said LinkedIn Editor in Chief Daniel Roth in recognizing this year’s designees.
Dr. Feinberg has written about a number of topics throughout the previous year, including the need to focus on patient-centered healthcare by eliminating hospital waiting rooms, how Geisinger’s Fresh Food Farmacy produces “mind-blowing” results, and how Geisinger continues to combat the opioid epidemic and has already decreased opioid prescriptions by half.
Dr. Feinberg says it’s never difficult for him to find topics to write about because he looks to the Geisinger family for ideas.
“Every day, the Geisinger team inspires me by their work on the front lines,” said Dr. Feinberg. “I write about the great things happening at Geisinger. I appreciate LinkedIn’s professional audience and thus I share with the LinkedIn community the unique and innovative ways I think Geisinger is disrupting patient care for the country.”
LinkedIn recognized 192 people worldwide as part of this year’s Top Voices list featuring a range of different categories, including healthcare, education, technology and marketing and social media.
