Dale Wilborne hopes MyCode will find answers for Parkinson's patients in the future
After Dale was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, he wanted to find a way to fight the disease and get back to a normal life. He was referred to Dr. Atom Sarkar, who recommended brain surgery to help him control the tremors and decrease his dependence on medications. Dale considers the surgery a success, and has seen a noticeable reduction in his symptoms.
Dale Wilborne decided to join MyCode when he found out it was an opportunity to help someone else. “It gives the experts the opportunity to progress treatment options,” Dale said. He is hopeful that the research at Geisinger will help the Parkinson’s Disease population around the world.
