Interpreter and special communications needs
We provide all of our patients and their families with qualified interpreters for languages other than English and for American Sign Language (ASL). If you have special communication needs call 570-398-0100 for assistance, or ask a member of your care team.
Patient liaisons for questions or concerns
Have a question or concern that you feel hasn’t been answered or addressed fully? Reach out to a patient liaison. They’ll help you find the right person or department. And they’ll stay involved until the issue is resolved.
The patient liaison is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Just call 570-271-8881.
If the patient liaison isn’t available, follow the voice prompts for immediate help. Or, if the issue can be addressed the next business day, leave your name, phone number and a brief description of your concern. The patient liaison will call you as soon as possible.

Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital Ministerial Services are available by local pastors of various faiths 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Patients or nurses may request for in-room visitations each day.
A visit from Ministerial Services often helps patients and family members with apprehension, fearfulness and pre-operative support. We also offer support to patients and family members with terminal illnesses, critical conditions or situations of other tragic events and death.
Prayer materials are kept in the quiet room for reflection and individual prayer. The quiet room is always opened and is located on the 1st floor near the main lobby.
Tell any member of the Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital team if you have a security concern. Security personnel are available on site.
