Are your faculty board-certified?
Yes, all faculty members are board-certified in nephrology. 

Does your staff participate in research?
Yes, our nephrology staff participates in local, regional, state, national, federal, and independent research. 

What are your outcomes?
Our fellows enjoy a perfect pass rate on national board examinations.

Do you have a robust dialysis program?
Yes, our dialysis program includes more than 300 patients in all modalities, including in center hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and home hemodialysis.

How rigorous is your research program?

The Geisinger Kidney Health Research Institute (KHRI) has three dedicated nephrology clinical investigators supported by a full-time biostatistician, project manager, and research assistant. KHRI provides an outstanding resource for fellows to successfully participate in research.

Does the program sponsor H1B visas?
Yes, our program will sponsor H1B visas.

Is moonlighting allowed?
Moonlighting opportunities exist at Geisinger. A separate credentialing application is required. The moonlighting hours count towards the 80-hour work week rules. Fellows who moonlight must be in good standing with the program.

Do you offer support during interviews?
Geisinger offers on-site lodging and meals for the duration of your interview.
