Is a research year mandatory?

It’s not. During each year you will be expected to participate in clinical research with mentorship from attending staff. We also support residents in external research opportunities should it be desired.

Do you accept foreign medical graduates? Do you currently have any foreign graduates in your program?

We encourage foreign medical graduates to apply to our program. FMGs must be eligible for a J-1 Visa.

What is the minimum score requirement for your program?

We don’t have a minimum score requirement for the USMLE. But we do expect candidates to pass on the first try. 

What type of visa do you sponsor?

We currently sponsor J-1 Visas. At this time, we don’t sponsor H1 Visas.

Do you require prior United States clinical experience?

Familiarity with the U.S. medical system is helpful but not required.

Do you have observership positions available?

No, not at this time.
