Happy and hopeful after gastric bypass surgery

Growing up, Tina Lenker was taught to clean her plate at every meal. But when her weight reached nearly 300 pounds, she knew it was time for a change.

In April 2016, the 40-year-old Duncannon resident underwent gastric bypass surgery. After losing 100 pounds, Tina is gearing up for a special trip to Disney with her family. She’s especially excited to get on the rides with her 14-year-old son—something she didn’t think was possible in the past.
