Geisinger becomes the first member of Risant Health

Meet the team

Picking the Medicare Advantage plan that’s right for you isn’t always easy, with so many options, plans and parts. Geisinger Gold’s local sales team can put you in touch with a licensed agent in your area who can help you choose the right plan, review the costs of your prescription drugs and discover all the benefits you deserve.

This month, we’re spotlighting the dedicated team in the northeast region, and all three are natives to the area. Live in a different area? Don’t worry — Geisinger Gold has representatives throughout their service area. Call 877-821-5056 to connect with a sales rep near you.

Theresa Hillard
Theresa has lived in NEPA her whole life and has more than three decades of experience with Medicare plans. She enjoys watching movies and plays with her sisters. Her top tip for picking the right Medicare Advantage plan? “Pick a plan based on your needs, not based on what others have. Look for a plan that makes financial sense and will cover your providers and prescription drugs.”

Cheri Murray
A Scranton native, Cheri has worked in insurance for more than 30 years. She loves the book Still Alice because it brings back memories of her mother. As far as the right Medicare Advantage plan, Cheri says, “Choose a plan that’s best for you right now, taking into consideration the cost, benefits and network. The best part about Advantage plans is that you can switch your plan every year as your life and health needs change.”

Daniel Schultz
Daniel, who is from Shickshinny and now lives in Nanticoke, has worked for Geisinger Health Plan for 14 years. He votes the Susquehanna Warrior Trail as his favorite local attraction. For indoor entertainment, he recently read Becoming Dr. Seuss by Brian Jay Jones. When picking a plan, he says, “Pay close attention to plan design, premium and network. These are the most important elements to consider when choosing a Medicare Advantage plan.”
