Geisinger becomes the first member of Risant Health

FORTY FORT, Pa. — Stacy Rosenberg, M.D., has joined the medical staff of Geisinger as an allergy and immunology specialist.

Allergists and immunologists are specially trained to treat patients with allergy- and asthma-related symptoms. Fellowship trained in allergy and immunology, Dr. Rosenberg sees pediatric and adult patients for a variety of conditions including eczema and skin rashes, environmental allergies, chronic coughing and wheezing, food and drug allergies, and lung diseases. She will see patients at Geisinger’s Hazleton Clinic located at 426 Airport Rd., 6 Beltway Commons, Hazle Twp., and Geisinger’s Forty Fort Clinic located at 190 Welles St., Suite 122, Forty Fort. 

Dr. Rosenberg earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans. She completed an internship and residency in general pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, followed by an allergy and immunology fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the American Medical Association, American Association of Pediatrics, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Clinical Immunology Society and Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association.

Geisinger’s allergy, immunology and asthma specialists have extensive training in evaluating and treating allergies and asthma, including performing complex food and drug challenges. The department offers a range of tests to accurately determine the type of allergy children and adults may have, as well as the severity, and these tests are used to develop a tailored plan to help patients stay active and remain healthy.
