Geisinger welcomes new urologist to State College and Lewistown

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Geisinger recently welcomed a new urologist to its Gray’s Woods and Lewistown-based urology clinics. Board-certified and fellowship-trained urologist Ira J. Kohn, MD, will provide care for adult patients for the following conditions: benign prostatic hyperplasia; voiding difficulties, erectile dysfunction; kidney and urinary tract stones; Peyronie’s disease; prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers and incontinence.
Dr. Kohn earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry at The Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed his surgical internship and urology residency at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. He also completed a neurourology and reconstructive urology fellowship at Columbia University, New York City.
