Affordable Care Act subsidies
Individuals or families with an income under 400% of the federal poverty level (FPL), and who are not otherwise eligible for Medicaid, are eligible for financial help (also known as subsidies) through the Affordable Care Act.

Pennsylvania’s Medical Assistance program has expanded, which means more financial assistance is available to more people. Eligibility is based on your household income and family size.

Depending on your income, you may be eligible for financial help for health insurance. Individuals or families with an income under 400% of the federal poverty level are eligible. If you do not qualify for financial help from Pennie, you may have other options.
Pennsylvania’s Medical Assistance program has expanded, which means more financial help is available to more people. Eligibility is based on your 2020 household income and family size. Typically, a person estimated to earn less than $51,000 a year — or a family of four estimated to earn less than $105,000 — would likely qualify for financial assistance through Pennie.
