Emergency care
If you or someone you know is in a life-threatening situation, call 911 immediately.

Get a prescription filled
If you need a prescription filled quickly, you can choose from more than 3,000 retail pharmacies in our network, including both large chain pharmacies and neighborhood drug stores throughout Pennsylvania.
If you have more time, consider using our mail order prescription service, which could save you money.
Urgent care
As a Geisinger Health Plan member, you can get care at any time and wherever you are — not just when your doctor’s office is open.
For most members, an urgent care visit will save you money compared to the emergency room.
When you need care quickly, but it’s not a life threatening emergency, consider an urgent care center. These facilities specialize in treating things like cuts, sprains, fevers and similar health problems.
