DANVILLE, PA – In hopes of spreading holiday cheer to those who need it the most, Geisinger Health Plan (GHP) donated more than 600 pre-filled holiday stockings for adults and children who will be patients spending their holidays in Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) and Janet Weis Children’s Hospital (JWCH).

 

More than 350 GHP employees teamed up, filling a total of 1,121 adult and children-themed stockings with items such as coloring books and stickers or slippers and magazines. 

 

In addition to GMC and JWCH, stockings have been donated to Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital and will also be donated to Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital (GBH) and Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital (GWV).
