DANVILLE, PA – Geisinger Health Plan recently welcomed Erica Hain as senior director of new business sales. In this new role, she will be responsible for producing growth in GHP’s commercial membership through the hiring, training, development and supervision of the commercial sales team.

“We are thrilled to add Erica’s extensive sales experience and superior leadership to our team,” said Steve Youso, GHP president and CEO. “Erica will play an integral role in GHP’s membership growth as we continue making affordable, quality healthcare available to everyone in the communities we serve.”

Hain joins GHP with 24 years of sales and leadership experience in the insurance industry. She spent the last eight years as vice president of the benefits division for Pennsylvania and Virginia at Keystone Insurers Group Inc., Northumberland, where she worked directly with agency partners and their clients.

Hain was also a broker relationship a manager with Emerson, Reid & Company, Harrisburg, and director of broker relations at Hartman Employee Benefits, Williamsport.

Hain received her bachelor of arts degree in history from Lycoming College, Williamsport, where she volunteers as a business mentor at the college’s Center for Enhancement Academic Experience

Hain currently serves on the National Association of Health Underwriters’ (NAHU) National Board of Trustees as vice president of the region representing Virginia, Maryland, Greater Washington, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
