Geisinger Health Plan receives award for compliance platform implementation
DANVILLE, PA – Geisinger Health Plan (GHP) recently received Quick Base’s Impact Award at the platform developer’s fifth annual user conference.
Quick Base, provider of the largest cloud platform for developing integrated, custom business applications, hosted Empower 2019 in Miami last month.
Each year the outstanding contributions from the Quick Base community are recognized with the Customer Awards. These awards showcase users and organizations that empower the people closest to the work while embracing partnerships throughout organizations.
"Our Customer Award winners are a diverse set of builders, changemakers and innovators. In many ways, they're pioneers, showing how new solutions can emerge when organizations are equipped with technology powered by the user's knowledge and insight," said Mark Daoust, Quick Base’s chief customer officer. "They're improving the way work gets done and unlocking massive value for their organizations. We're honored to have these incredible organizations and individuals as part of the Quick Base community."
The Impact Award is given to the organization that demonstrates the results of driving ideas into action for their organizations every day. This organization shows what an agile business can deliver with engaged leaders, empowered employees and innovative ideas
GHP received this award for its implementation of a system that manages nearly every aspect of compliance, including regulatory memos and actions, corrective action plans, and metric tracking.
“Life before Quick Base was hard,” said Phillip Masser, GHP’s compliance director. “We previously had to use a lot of spreadsheets and emails. We definitely had a need for some type of program to manage our day-to-day workflows and reporting.”
“GHP offers a variety of coverage options, including commercial and government plans like Medicare and Medicaid,” said Keith McRee, GHP’s chief of compliance. “Each of these programs has a set of state or federal regulatory requirements that we have to track and in 2018, GHP had a perfect compliance program effectiveness score.”
