Mary Mastrandrea
Vice President of Government Programs
Mary Mastrandrea is the vice president of government programs for Geisinger Health Plan. She oversees all aspects of contract management, compliance and client relationships for federal and state government programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program and ACA qualified health plans under Geisinger Health Plan.
Ms. Mastrandrea has been with Geisinger Health Plan for five years. She joined Geisinger after four years with Beacon Health Options, where she began as the senior vice president of national client partnerships and was promoted to chief partnership officer of the tri-state/mid-Atlantic region, where she led all strategy, business development and product planning to support regional growth and the company’s overall market position. Throughout her career, Ms. Mastrandrea also served as senior vice president of the public sector division with ValueOptions Inc.; chief executive officer at ValueOptions Maryland; and chief operating officer at ValueOptions New Mexico.
Ms. Mastrandrea earned her Bachelor of Social Work from SUNY at Stony Brook and her Master of Social Work from Adelphi University.
